        • Luggage: Since you will be staying in different cities each night, it is recommended to have a small handbag or backpack for easily carrying your daily essentials.
        • Footwear: The ground surfaces in ancient cities and museums (especially Ephesus, Pergamon, and Cappadocia) are often stony, uneven, or slippery. Therefore, comfortable walking shoes are strongly advised.
        • Cappadocia: The region is famous for its sunrise hot air balloon tours. This is an optional activity with an extra charge and is subject to weather conditions. If you plan to join the balloon tour, early reservation and bringing warm clothing for the early morning hours are highly recommended.
        • Currency: Turkey's currency is the Turkish Lira (TL). It is useful to carry some cash for museum/site entrance fees and personal expenses.
        • Museum Pass (Müze Kart): You may purchase a Museum Pass, which provides free or discounted entry to many museums and historical sites belonging to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. You can consult with your tour guide about obtaining one.
        What to bring

          Clothing: You may encounter varying weather conditions across Turkey's different regions. Bringing layering clothing appropriate for the season is recommended. For mosque visits (especially the Blue Mosque in Istanbul), women are required to cover their heads, and both men and women must wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees.
