in the tour price. Tipping is a common and expected practice in the service industry in Turkey.
- Personal Expenses:
Set aside a budget for personal expenses such as souvenirs, drinks outside the tour package, or snacks.
Communication and Technology
- Power Adapters:
Electrical outlets in Turkey are typically Type F (two round pins)
and the voltage is $220\text{V}$. If you are traveling from a different country, remember to bring the appropriate power adapter
for your electronic devices.
- Portable Charger (Powerbank):
The battery on your phone or camera may run out quickly during long, intense days spent at ancient sites. Carrying a fully charged power bank
will be very useful for staying in touch and taking photos during the trip.
